Road Trip Alserkal Avenue

Alserkal Programming invites you on a monthly series of road trips to visit exhibitions, talks, performances and film screenings by galleries, arts institutions, and cultural initiatives around the country.
The next trip will take place on the 20 of May to attend the 13th edition of the Sharjah Biennial Tamawuj. The venues that will be visited are the Al Hamriyah Studios and The Flying Saucer.
Sharjah Biennial 13: Tamawuj, encompasses exhibitions, projects and educational programmes in five locations, expanding the biennial’s structure across space and time. Curated by Christine Tohme, Tamawuj is an Arabic word that suggests the rising and falling of waves; a flowing, swelling, surging or fluctuation and a wavy, undulating appearance, outline or form. Road Trips are open to everyone and free of charge. However, spaces are limited and reservations are on a first-come- first-served basis.

Howzat @ The Junction

Howzat (Tall Tales Production) is a comedy play to be based in Modern Dubai. It is the first full length production to be written in and on Modern Dubai. The story revolves around two families living on the Palm. It is a story of love, tolerance, peace, and prosperity – Dubai Style.
