UAE National Day Celebration: 46th Anniversary, Spirit of the Union

The United Arab Emirates celebrates 46 glorious years as a Nation on this day. The seven Emirates, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain joined together to become one of the world’s fastest growing and most successful countries.

Celebrate this truly significant day with the nation by participating in or experiencing a number of fantastic and patriotic events around the city of Dubai.

It is a time of national pride and all the emirates, including Dubai, burst out in cultural celebrations. Traditional dances, shows, parades and concerts with celebrity appearances are put on to remember the country’s proud heritage.

There will also be a ‘One Heart One Nation’ stand, where visitors will be invited to write a message expressing their love for the UAE, and have their photo taken with it.  The photo will then form part of a giant mosaic. Visitors will be able to watch a live show from 2-3 December, the weekend of National Day. The show, based around five quotes of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will feature inspirational acts and an aerial silk show. There will be three shows each day, at 4pm, 6:30pm, and 9pm.
