The purchase also includes a chance to enter the raffle draw once with every AED100 spent at participating outlets. The raffle prizes include airline tickets and 18 much sought-after iPhones.

Ali Al Suwaidi, Director of Souq Al Jubail, said: “It is a real celebration that reflects the joy and celebration of Eid. Shopping at Souq Al Jubai is a unique and delightful experience, as this daily routine is done at a place that attracts tourists and visitors and provides a great experience in all aspects.”

He added: “Souq Al Jubail is a closed and air-conditioned retail facility that caters to many consumer needs under one roof. The souq is divided into many sections: one for meat produce, another for fruits and vegetables, and a section for fish and seafood where customers can buy their selection of fish and watch the cleaning and cutting in a designated area surrounded by a glass partition. In addition, we have a daily fish auction at 4:00PM, which attracts a huge crowd because of its unique atmosphere.”

He added: “The market comprises a parking space that can accommodate 750 cars. Moreover, 800 trolleys are available for consumers at the market, which features an indoor walkway overlooking the market’s yard and the creek, offering customers a pleasant, comfortable and one-of-a-kind shopping experience with their families.”

He concluded: “The construction of the new market comes in line with the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and is in keeping with the development plans of the Sharjah government to develop the economic and service sectors in the Emirate, including the retail sector. Such projects seek to strengthen Sharjah’s position as an important regional hub for retail trade, due to the numerous services and benefits it provides through central markets and modern shopping centres.”
