Ali Al Jari remarked: Russia’s food industry is strong and continuing to grow while the developing MENA region is ready to purchase those supplies, resulting in more demand. UAE can play an important role not only in helping the Russian Export to reach our Region but also supplying other emerging regions like Sub-Saharan Africa.  Together Russia and the UAE can ensure that the scarcity of food becomes either the thing of the past or at least does not get any worse.

Sergey Gorkov mentioned: “I am pleased to note that the trade turnover between Russia and the UAE is growing and reaching new levels. Today, in terms of the volume of trade relations, we rank first among the Arab countries. About 20% of this volume is the turnover of agricultural products, and I am glad to confirm this number is growing every year.”

Roman Goldman stated: “Climate change is making Siberia more and more suitable for agriculture however at the same time, many territories of Asia, Africa, and Latin America see the opposite effect causing a large-scale famine among hundreds of millions of people. Our team wondered how to reduce the carbon footprint of our activities and how to increase the efficiency of agriculture. We have decided to build a gas station and implemented a closed production cycle – no waste from our activities harms nature. We believe that the international community and farmers will be able to feed all the inhabitants of the Earth only through joint efforts – there is no place for competition when there is an issue of hunger in the world.”

Pablo Sivori commented: “Argentina has a very long history with Russia – not only trade but also investment. Our trade relationship is a strategic alliance that has been building towards sustainability in food production. For example, Argentinian water stress technology was also implemented by Russia for wheat to increase the quality and quantity of production.
