Picasso & Miro’ Exhibition @ The Annex, Burj Khalifa March 7th-May 17th 2016
PICASSO AND MIRÓ, PASSION AND POETRY ALPHA SOUL UNVEILS LARGEST EXHIBITON OF CLASSICAL 
ART IN THE UAE
For the first time ever in the UAE, Alpha Soul, a company committed to enriching the spirit of Dubai by promoting art and classical music, will host an exhibition comprising over 267 pieces of artwork from renowned artists Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró entitled Picasso and Miró, Passion and Poetry.
With pieces sourced from a number of private collections around the world, the exhibition will explore the intertwining lives and work of Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró through a series of original lithographs, ceramics and graphics specifically coordinated to flow through this enchanting narrative. The exhibition will commence with a section titled Creators of Myth and continues on to investigate the works of Picasso and Miró in chronological order with sections titled; Inventors of New Languages, Jugglers of Form, Poets of Color and Alchemists of Art.
Sergio Gaddi, curator explains, “The Exhibition’s narrative path crosses figures and themes that characterized the
graphic experience of Pablo Picasso and Joan Mirò, linked with a fil rouge which intertwined their lives. However, the exhibition is not merely a journey which tells a dialectic relationship between history and contemporaneity, but also a dialogue between the signs of tradition lived and interpreted by the artists, and the energies that lighted up their creativity.”
Dilyara Kamenova, Founder of Alpha Soul adds, “Alpha Soul is committed to the development of the art and culture sector in the UAE. Through this mission, we venture to bring exhibitions, performances, and speeches to an audience that may otherwise not have access to such forms of expression.”
Alpha Soul is encouraging schools to register for 75 minute private tours and art classes at a cost of 80 AED. They will take place from 8am to noon Sunday through Thursday.
“We believe that art is a universal language and that it will speak to each and every person that visits this exhibit and
hopefully open their minds to other ways of viewing the world. This is especially true of young minds that are still in the process of being shaped and molded,” continued Khalid Alhalyan, Co-Founder of Alpha Soul.
Commencing on 3 March 2016, the Exhibition will be held at The Annex, Burj Khalifa, with the support of Burj Khalifa and Emaar. It will be open to the public from 7 March to 17 May 2016 from noon to 10pm. Tickets can be purchased at Platinumlist and Ticketmaster at a cost of 125 AED. Part proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Al Noor Training Centre for children with special needs.
