Michelin Star Chef Moreno Cedroni @ Bice Mare Souk Al Bahar
I was one of the lucky guests to have a dinner at Bice Mare Restaurant in Souk Al Bahar, during the Italian Cuisine 
World Summit 2015.
On November 4th, it was a special Michelin Starred Chef Night with Celebrity Chef Moreno Cedroni.
Moreno Cedroni is the two stars chef Michelin that brought a spirit of avant-garde in Italian cooking. Born in Ancona in 1964, at just twenty he opened the restaurant La Madonnina del Pescatore in Senigallia. Since then, he has written several books including Sushi & amp; Susci, which introduces the concept of susci, or an innovative way to reinterpret the raw fish, which he left as an imitation of the traditional idea of the Japanese sushi to become later a real independent study. The reign of his susci will become in 2000 the Clandestino Sushi Bar, right in the heart of the most spectacular scenery of the coast of the Adriatic, Portonovo.
The dishes were simply superlatives: as starter, amberjack with leek sauce and lemon grass, basil, pienses and 
amaranth; octopus, vegetables in “Salsa Verde” sauce; and my favourite one, warm carpaccio of sea bass, lime pure, rocket sauce. As pasta, Carnaroli rice with friarelle cream, provolone del Monaco cheese and black truffle; and, the superb seafood lasagna, coconut cream and parsley. I asked to the Chef the secret of this amazing lasagna and he told me the story: the recipe is like a trip between Italy and Thailand, were the taste of Italian lasagna meet the flavour of thailandese coconut cream. Simply deliciouse.
Very good also the “Secondi piatti”, the guazzetto fish and shellfish stew and the charcoal grilled lamb. Last but not least, the famous Italian dessert: cassata and tiramisu’.

This restaurant is for all people who enjoy italian cuisine, it´s a piece of Italy in Dubai.
The excellent quality of taste and presentation were always maintained. I strongly advise this restaurant.
