Italian Innovation @ DIBS- Dubai Canal from 26th Feb to 2nd Mar
At the Dubai International Boat Show later this week, 12 Italian specialised marine equipment suppliers and service providers will be looking for opportunities to grow their regional business thanks to the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in cooperation with the Italian Marine Industry Association (UCINA).
The Italian companies will be demonstrating their capacity to develop and innovate state-of-the-art technology solutions that characterises the Italian boating industry. The 27th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show will take place from Tuesday 26 February to Saturday 2 March at the Dubai Canal, Jumeirah, and is now the largest and most established boat show in the UAE, GCC and Middle East.
Gianpaolo Bruno, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE, Oman and Pakistan said, “The boating sector is one where Italy excels in terms of design and technology and it certainly plays an important role in the country’s manufacturing capability. Italy’s marine industry represents a significant part of the Italian economy, offering a total turnover of more than four billion euros and accounts for about two per cent of the Italian GDP. The UAE has become one of the top 10 maritime capitals in the world and we are joined by three more Italian companies this year compared to last year’s exhibition, reinforcing the influence that this event has amongst the industry, both locally and internationally.”
ITA will host the below marine equipment manufacturers and service providers to present innovations that are genuinely Made in Italy:
