Dubai World Cup 20th Anniversary
The world’s richest horse race is back to bring together equestrians and others for a day of ultimate excitement.
The region’s premier equestrian event pays tribute to the Arabian love affair with horses and is also one of the UAE’s biggest social and sporting events. Taking place on the last Saturday of March at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, it is the richest day of racing in the world with a combined prize purse of $27.25 million USD. The event features nine races, highlighted by the $10m Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates Airline.

Every year, the Dubai World Cup hosts a top artist at the end of the racing season to celebrate the races and bring it to a fantastic close. The names of the performers are kept under wraps until a short while before the final matches are due. This year, the surprise artist is none other than Australian superstar Kylie Minogue. She is singer, songwriter, and actress. She achieved recognition by starring in the Australia TV soap opera Neighbours, where she played tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson. Appearing in the series for two years, Minogue’s character married Scott Robinson, played by Jason Donovan in an episode viewed by nearly 20 million people in the United Kingdom and become one of the most watched Australian TV episodes ever worldwide. Since then, Minogue has been a recording artist and has achieved massive commercial success and critical acclaim in the entertainment industry.
This event is open only to Dubai World Cup ticket holders.
