The members of the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE) in Paris have chosen the city that will host the Expo 2020: Dubai! After months of projects, several million dollars already been spent, and 20 minutes available at the OECD convention center to show their own project in case of victory, finally we got a winner. Pamela Anderson, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus?s mum Tish all supported the Dubai bid for Expo 2020 on their Twitter page. Expo celebrations will make National Day even more special.

The tremendous support generated among Emiratis and expatriates showcased the UAE?s commitment to hosting the global event.?Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group and Chairman of Higher Committee on World Expo 2020, leaded the bid delegation.

Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was in Paris to help support the bid and who said Dubai?s chances of clinching the right to host Expo 2020 seemed bright, offered his analysis behind the today?s voting process, which will determine the outcome of Dubai?s bid to host the Expo 2020.
