Dubai Women’s Run 2017 @ Marasi, Business Bay on 17th November 2017

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum – Chairman of the National Olympic Committee – the Dubai Women’s Run is the first such initiative in the Middle East celebrating the spirit of the Arab woman in the region.

The event is organized by Plan B and supported by the UAE Athletics Federation and Dubai Sports Council.

Embodying the never-say-die spirit of the woman of today, the event – over the years – has grown from strength to strength, attracting local, regional and international participation.

“Dubai Women’s Run is a very strong platform for the whole society to support. Being in its seventh year the campaign is expected to go few folds up with an expected 10000+ registrations. The objectives of Dubai Women’s Run are beyond sports with core objective to have the initiative culminate into a celebration of womanhood and everyone participating to run for a reason – “Themselves.” The race is not limited to women as men can participate by supporting the women in their lives with a message of equality and a positive mindset. Dubai Women’s Run is aiming to bring a strong message of women empowerment come into play by being on the track either by running or supporting the runners and would go beyond a one day event as the aim is to build a community and me and my team are geared up to take it to the next level” -Harmeek Singh, said.
